Country music star Ingrid Andress sang the national anthem on July 15 at the 2024 MLB Home Run Derby in Arlington, Texas. Her rendition has gone viral for being an awful performance. 

Her performance was shaky and her pitch was way off. Social media fans described it best as a “painful” attempt.

In the video, the baseball players on the field struggled to hold in their laughter while Andress skipped over the notes.

There have been a few other bad national anthem performances to go viral. Back in 2018 Fergie received a lot of slack when she sang the national anthem at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game. Another horrible performance was when Roseanne Barr sang during the San Diego Padres game back in 1990.

Ingrid Andreess gained widespread recognition with her debut single “More Hearts Than Mine,” which was released in 2019 and became a major hit. She was also a four time Grammy award nominee.

Her first album, “Lady Like,” was released in March 2020. It received critical acclaim and included other popular tracks such as “The Stranger” and “Life of the Party.” Her second studio album, “Good Person,” was released in 2022. Ingrid posted on Instagram that her latest single “Colorado 9” comes out on July 24th.

Ingrid sings mainly country, but her music often blends elements of pop and contemporary styles.
