Remember in 2020 when the pandemic started and some people in the United States started hoarding toilet paper and cleaning supplies? That caused an extreme shortage in toilet paper and cleaning supplies for the rest of us.

A year later, there’s a new type of hoarding going on. This time, people are hoarding gasoline. This unusual type of hoarding is due to fear of running out of gas due to the cyberattack on the Colonial Pipeline which supplies approximately half of the gasoline and diesel fuel in the eastern half of the United States.

You know what hoarding gasoline means? It’s now even harder for the rest of us to find gasoline at the pump. And price increases. Don’t forget about price increases.
