Prince Harry Reveals the Reason Why He Only Plans to Have 2 Kids (Maximum) With Duchess Meghan

When a couple goes out on their first date, it’s not wise to bring up marriage or how many kids you want to have one day. That might just scare the other person off and end a relationship before it starts. However, it is wise to have these conversations down the road in the dating relationship, well before a proposal and wedding bells.

There are many things that come into play when a couple decides how many children they want to have. Perhaps the first child is a handful, and they decide that they don’t want any more. Sometimes a couple decides to have just one child so that they can truly spoil the child instead of struggling financially to raise (and pay for) multiple children. On the flip side, sometimes a couple gets baby fever and feels that they just can’t have enough children.

Ideally, husband and wife should be on the same page about how many children they want to have. If the wife wants a large family and the husband doesn’t want any kids, for example, that could be a huge problem.

We’ll assume that Meghan Markle and her charming prince had conversations about how many children they want well before their royal wedding. They wasted no time adding a child to their young family. Baby Archie was born less a year after the couple tied the knot.

After a first child is born, it’s natural to wonder if and when the couple will have more children. Now, we don’t have to do too much wondering.

Meghan acted as guest editor for the September issue of British Vogue, and as part of the issue, Prince Harry sat down for an interview with Jane Goodall. The interview largely involved climate change and the environment, but Harry clearly indicated how many children the couple plan to have. Perhaps this was a slip. Perhaps it was intentional. Either way, now we know. The couple want no more than 2 children. Watch the video below to find out why.

How many children do you have or do you plan to have one day? How did you decide on that number?
