Popular Singer Passed Away In Freak Onstage Accident At 35

Brazilian singer Ayres Sasaki passed away on July 13. He died from a fatal electric shock while performing a concert in popular travel destination Salinópolis in Pará, Brazil. He was 35.

The Brazilian music industry is in shock. Police are still investigating how this tragedy could have possibly occurred.

Per an article on ENews! “According to Billboard Brazil and Brazilian celebrity magazine ISTOÉ Gente, the rock musician died almost instantly after suffering an electric shock while hugging a soaking wet fan during his performance at the Solar Hotel. However, the Diário do Paránewspaper reported that Sasaki was electrocuted while playing guitar onstage.The hotel expressed its condolences following his death and said it was working with the authorities in their investigation.”The hotel has been working to support the singer’s family.

Sasaki is survived by his spouse Mariana, they were married almost a year.
