Sisters Lynette “Diamond” Hardaway and Rochelle “Silk” Richardson, who simply went by the names Diamond and Silk, were adamantly pro-Donald Trump, endorsing him for President in the upcoming 2024 election. They used to be correspondents for Fox News, but lost that gig due to their opinions about Covid-19.

No matter what you think of their political views, it is always sad when someone dies too young. Earlier today, Trump announced the sad news that Diamond passed away at her home in North Carolina. Her sister was at her side. He called her death “totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out.”

Shortly after Trump’s announcement, the official Diamond and Silk social media pages, including Twitter and Instagram, released a statement about Diamond’s death. Alongside a picture of Diamond, the post reads, “The World just lost a True Angel and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love, and Humanity! Please respect the privacy of Diamond’s family!” The post also included a link to a site where followers can make “Contributions towards Preserving Diamond’s Legacy.”

This fundraising page included a statement explaining, “Diamond blazed a trail, founded on her passion and love for the entire race of humanity. The memory of her passing should forever remain in our hearts.”

Back in November 2022, shortly after Diamond celebrated her 51st birthday, the Diamond and Silk Twitter account asked followers to pray for Diamond, but they did not mention a specific illness.

Mike Lindell, the founder of MyPillow and a vocal Trump supporter who hosted a video series for Diamond and Silk, told The Daily Beast that Diamond had been sick. He also said that he learned about her death upon seeing Trump’s post.
