Only days before the 2024 Super Bowl, Patrick Mahomes Senior was allegedly driving while intoxicated.

Recently, less than six months after his DWI offense, Mahomes senior was pulled over by Tyler, Texas police on June 29 according to court documents as reported by TMZ.

The proud football father was not following traffic signs which resulted in him being ticketed for an invalid license. 

Mr. Mahomes is supposed to be in court on July 31. It has not been reported on the status of his license. His DWI trial is scheduled for later this month. This is his sixth DWI offense.

Patrick Mahomes Sr., known for his successful 11-season career as an MLB pitcher, played for several prominent teams, including the Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, and Pittsburgh Pirates. His achievements on the baseball field have often been overshadowed by his son’s stellar career in the NFL.
