After decades at the helm of the Wheel of Fortune, and officially retiring in June 2024, Pat Sajak is gearing up for one final turn on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.

According to a press release shared by Fox News, Sajak will make his farewell appearance on the star-studded spinoff starting April 30. The special week will feature a lineup of celebrity contestants including Josh Gad, Regina Hall, Ellie Kemper, Justin Long, Joe Manganiello, Katharine McPhee, and more.

The celebrity contestants will have the opportunity to win up to $1 million for a charity of their choice.

The special episodes of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune will lead into the highly anticipated 2025 Jeopardy! Masters tournament, hosted by former champion Ken Jennings.

Sajak’s return to the game show marks a final farewell after he announced his retirement in June 2023.

Pat Sajak retired after an incredible 42-year run as host of Wheel of Fortune. Weeks later, Ryan Seacrest was announced as his replacement.

Meanwhile, longtime co-host Vanna White extended her contract, ensuring she’ll remain a part of the show through the 2025–2026 season.

Pat Sajak is an American television personality best known as the longtime host of the game show Wheel of Fortune. Born on October 26, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, Sajak began his career as a radio disc jockey before transitioning to television.

In 1981, he was selected by Merv Griffin to host Wheel of Fortune, a role he held for over four decades, becoming a beloved and iconic figure in American entertainment. His quick wit, charm, and rapport with co-host Vanna White made the show a household staple.

Outside of Wheel, Sajak briefly hosted a late-night talk show and made cameo appearances in various television shows. He’s also known for his dry humor and conservative political commentary. Sajak retired from Wheel of Fortune in 2024, passing the torch to Ryan Seacrest.

He is married to photographer Lesly Brown and has two children. Pat Sajak remains a celebrated figure in game show history.
