Passenger’s Post About What This Dad Did For His Daughter Over The Christmas Holiday Goes Viral

Not everyone could take off from work during the holidays, so in most cases that means someone misses out. The airline industry is one that doesn’t get to hit the pause button for Christmas.

However, as passenger Mike Levy learned, there are still some awesome things happening for flight crews. On his Christmas Eve flight, Levy began chatting with a fellow passenger named Hal. It just so happened that Hal did not want his daughter to spend Christmas alone, so he booked six flights to be with her.

He didn’t travel far because his daughter, Pierce, works as a flight attendant for Delta. Hal decided to keep her company as she handled her duties. Levy thought it was so cool that he created a Facebook post about the experience:

From the sound of it, it seems like the trip from Florida to Detroit where Levy and Hal met was just the beginning of the latter’s adventurous gift. Later on, Pierce posted a thank you message to her colleagues who helped make her dad’s travel a success. Fortunately, he was also able to snag a seat in first class.

When CNN reached out to Delta about the sweet story, they were all for it:

“We appreciate all of our employees for working during the holidays to serve Delta customers, and love seeing this awesome Dad having the chance to spend Christmas with his daughter — even while crisscrossing the country at 30,000 feet.”

What a loving dad! Although he had to do some navigating to make it on each flight, he still got a chance to spend some quality time with his daughter.
