Today, May 6, 2021, is national nurses day. In honor of this special day, Dunkin Donuts is thanking nurses and health care workers for all of their hard work by offering them a free cup or hot or iced coffee.

On the Dunkin Donuts blog, the company explained, “From the very start of the pandemic, Dunkin’ and our franchisees have offered our support and gratitude to healthcare professionals nationwide. In honor of National Nurses Day this Thursday, we’re once again showing our appreciation by offering a free medium hot or iced coffee – no purchase necessary – to healthcare workers who show their ID and visit participating Dunkin’ restaurants nationwide, while supplies last.”

Nurses and health care workers can enjoy their free cup of joe at any participating Dunkin Donuts location. Cold Brew and Nitro Cold Brew are excluded from the offer, and the limit is one free cup of coffee per person.

Feel free to get creative with your free coffee order. Dunkin has a variety of delicious flavors that can be added, but there may be a charge for certain additions like milk alternatives and espresso shots.

In order to take advantage of this order, you’ll need to show your ID, which means this free coffee offer is only available in person. Nurses and health care workers cannot place a mobile order and get the free coffee offer.
