This Is NOT a Cookie Cutter Tiny House.

Nelson Tiny Houses specializes in a unique trailer-type tiny home called the Acorn House. This house (fondly called the Acorn 3) is a 20-foot-long, 9-foot-wide, and completely off-grid tiny house that offers a roomy, warm home for those who want to live comfortably in nature! You might be picturing a regular hitch trailer in your mind, one you might find in any lot or camping ground in America – but this tiny house is unlike any mobile home you’ve ever seen! What’s inside will blow your mind. Check out the video below to see for yourself.

The Acorn 3 begins with a quaint little mud room that instantly opens up to the entire amazing home. This short but open hall makes everything inside feel very open and ten times bigger than the space actually is.

In the main room, you have your kitchen, living room, and dining room. The dining room table, unlike other tiny houses where you see the table top come out from a wall, comes UP from under the kitchen sink! This is a truly unique way to save space and the wood is as beautiful and one-of-a-kind as the home itself.

Within what looks like a few closets are the stand-in shower and composting toilet, which is a very energy and space-efficient way to layout the bathroom quarters.

Our favorite part? The cubbies in the back wall! This fun alternate storage also doubles as a headboard, as the storage blocks underneath covert easily into a fold-out bed. Brilliant and adorable.
