Michael Bolton Posts First Family Photo During Cancer Treatment
Chart topping singer Michael Bolton is celebrating Christmas with his family after enduring a challenging year. The 71-year-old singer shared a heartfelt holiday photo with his loved ones on Facebook on Wednesday, December 25. In his post, Bolton reflected on a difficult journey, revealing that he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent surgery “just before the holidays” last year.
“Sending warm wishes for a holiday season filled with peace, love, and joy,” he captioned the post. “May the New Year bring health, happiness, and countless moments to cherish.”
Michael Bolton is the proud father of three daughters—Isa, Holly, and Taryn—whom he shares with his ex-wife, Maureen McGuire. He is also a devoted grandfather to six grandchildren.
Last January, Michael Bolton announced that he had been diagnosed with a brain tumor and would be stepping away from the stage to focus on his health.
Just before the holidays, it was discovered that I had a brain tumor, which required immediate surgery. Thanks to my incredible medical team, the surgery was a success,” Bolton said on Facebook. “I am now recuperating at home and surrounded by the tremendous love and support of my family.”
