Make Your Own Toothpaste
Why buy toothpaste when you’ve probably got the ingredients you need at home to make your own? I’ve seen articles saying that you can make a good toothpaste with baking soda and water, but this recipe is a little more involved and takes flavor into account. There’s nothing like that minty fresh feeling you have after brushing your teeth.
All you’ll need to complete Instructable’s recipe is baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, vegetable-based glycerin (optional) and a touch of flavor oil, a la peppermint or cinnamon. You can be creative when it comes to the flavored oil. Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide aren’t good for you in huge doses, so just as with brand toothpaste, do not ingest!
