Not too long ago, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made the shocking announcement that they will be stepping back from the royal family to gain financial freedom of their own.

The couple, along with their 8-month-old son Archie, announced that they plan to split their time between the United Kingdom and North America instead of being full-time members of the royal family. And while they do continue to honor the Queen, the Commonwealth, and their patronages, they will simply be stepping down and doing it from afar.

There were many reactions to the news, both positive and negative. Luckily, Queen Elizabeth II had a welcoming response to the news, and felt fully in support of the two in their endeavors. “My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family,” she explained in her statement.

However, when it came to the negative, one of the biggest was that Madame Tussauds, a wax museum in London, had removed Meghan Markle’s and Prince Harry’s wax figures from its display in light of the news.

Ya win some, ya lose some.

And now, Madonna has responded by throwing a little humor in the mix. Well, we think she’s joking—but perhaps she’s serious.

The famous pop singer posted a video on her Instagram account directed towards the “ex-royal” couple with a new idea of where to move instead of Canada: her place, of course.

“Don’t run off to Canada, it’s so boring there,” Madonna quipped in the video. “I’ll let them sublet my apartment in Central Park West, it’s two-bedroom. It’s got the best view of Manhattan, with the best balcony.”

Um, we bet it does…Madonna.

“That’s going to be a winner. That’s going to be a deal breaker,” she continued. “Buckingham Palace has got nothing on CPW [Central Park West].”

A male’s voice then says, “The view is better, that’s for sure,” and Madonna responds, “Yeah, for sure. A bunch of guys in wooly hats.”

The couple has yet to comment on the video, but if it were us, we’d definitely take her up on that offer. Madonna has owned her New York City apartment since 2008 when she bought it for $7.3 million—so imagine what it’s worth today!
