Lizzo is losing weight and showing off the results in social media videos.

Keep in mind, the 36-year-old singer  has often spoken openly about body positivity, self-love, and embracing her natural body, rather than focusing on weight loss as a goal. While she promotes health and wellness, she emphasizes that her fitness journey is about feeling good and being strong rather than conforming to societal expectations of thinness.

In recent years, Lizzo has shared on social media about her workout routines, including strength training, cardio, and dance, but she consistently advocates for doing what feels right for oneself and prioritizing mental health as much as physical health. Her messaging remains centered on self-acceptance, and she has become a vocal critic of body shaming.

On an Instagram video posted September 20, Lizzo strips into a workout bra and yoga pants. She flexes and does a series of exercises, even burpees.

The singer wrote, “IM NOT SKINNY IM FHICK😤.”

Lizzo addressed recent speculation about her weight loss progress, particularly allegations that she had used Ozempic or other weight loss medications. In an Instagram post on September 20, Lizzo, 36, made it clear that her results were from her following a fitness routine, stating, “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit.”

The comment stemmed from an earlier accusation by a social media user, which suggested she had used Ozempic or drugs like cocaine. Lizzo, known for her outspokenness about body positivity, humorously clapped back by captioning her post “oZeMpIc oR cOkE?” and directly asked the user, “Whyyyy do u follow me?”

Ozempic and similar medications like Wegovy are typically prescribed for individuals managing diabetes or high blood pressure, but have gained popularity as quick weight-loss tools among some celebrities. Despite this, Lizzo showcased her own hard work through her fitness regimen, emphasizing that her progress comes from exercise and eating less.
