Kate Hudson Danced With Goldie Hawn, And Once The Music Played, She Had The Audience Roaring

Ellen DeGeneres’s talk show, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” was on the air for 19 seasons before coming to an end in 2022. While Ellen herself was the host for almost every single episode, once in awhile she needed someone to guest host for her.

Finding a guest host for a show as popular as Ellen’s show must be tricky. You don’t want guests to be disappointed about not seeing the regular host, and you need to make sure the fill in host can handle the show in a similar way to Ellen.

The producers of Ellen’s show decided to ask a celebrity mother and daughter duo to fill in as guest hosts. This particular mother daughter team was none other than Kate Hudson and her mom Goldie Hawn, both very famous and very talented actresses.

At the beginning of the episode, Kate started out on stage explaining that she is guest hosting and that her mom is going to join her but her mom is always late. Then Goldie joined her daughter on stage and they reminisced about the last time they were on the show together.

The audience was thrilled to see both of them, but as Kate mentioned, there was one thing in particular that she knew her mom was really looking forward to on this show. She didn’t come out and say it, but she didn’t have to. All she had to do is call out to tWitch, the late DJ who used to make sure the music was playing when it was time to dance.

As soon as the music started, both Kate and Goldie started dancing, but Goldie was taking the lead with her daughter more copying her and trying to get out of the way of the camera so the focus could be on her mom.
