On February 26, Jason and Lauren took to Instagram to update their followers on Ryver’s condition, revealing that their young son has been hospitalized for two days and is fighting an infection that has left doctors perplexed.

“If you could say a prayer for our boy Ryver, it would mean a lot,” the couple wrote in a joint post, accompanied by a photo of Ryver sitting on his dad’s lap while in the doctor’s office. “Day 2 in pediatric intensive care, the infection is leaving doctors perplexed and we are hopeful for more answers today.”
Jason, who is also the father to 16-month-old daughter Poppy Ford, further shared his emotional response to the situation by reposting the update to his own Instagram Story.
The post was accompanied by the song Yes I Will by Vertical Worship, which has become an anthem for the family during this difficult time. “Gutting to see him in this kind of pain,” Jason added in the post, showing how deeply this experience has affected him and his family.
