Hallmark Channel Will Air 250+ Holiday Movies As Part of Their Christmas in July Movie Marathon

Is it ever too early to start breaking out the Christmas movies? Sure, we’re still about six months away from the festive holiday, but there’s something about Christmas classics that really brings joy to people’s lives.

Hallmark knows all about the holly jolly spirit of Christmas. That’s why the TV channel is set to air more than 250—that’s right, 250!—holiday movies on both the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, as a part of their Christmas in July movie marathon.

“Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries once again bring the yuletide poolside this July, with the return of the networks’ popular summertime Christmas-movie programming events,” a press release from the network stated.

The marathon will kick off on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries at 5 p.m. EST/PST on June 29, offering three Christmas movies each weeknight. Additionally, Hallmark Channel’s annual “Keepsake Christmas” will continue over the course of 17 days of original holiday movies that begin at 12 p.m. EST/PST on July 10.

Though Hallmark airs their Christmas in July marathon every year, this year we need the holiday spirit even more. With people still quarantined for the most part, what better way to boost our spirits than with the joy of Christmas?

When the COVID-19 outbreak began, Hallmark decided they’d air a bunch of holiday favorites all weekend long to help keep spirits up for people, and it worked. And now, though this is an annual tradition, this early holiday cheer will do the same.

Hallmark has some amazing movies on their schedule for their Christmas in July marathons, beginning with The Mistletoe Inn on June 29 and ending with Enchanted Christmas on July 27. You’ll see all your favorite actors and actresses in the films, including Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert, Holly Robinson Peete, Danica McKellar, Chad Michael Murray, Ryan Paevey and more.

Don’t have Cable? Not to worry, you can still get your fix. You can watch the marathon on Fubo, Philo, and Frndly (all of which let you try out a free seven-day trial).

So grab the eggnog and cozy up on your couch—it’s time to celebrate Christmas in July!
