Good Morning America TV Host Comes Close To Suffering A Live On Air Medical Emergency
During Thursday’s segment on Good Morning America, Michael Strahan had a light-hearted moment that took a surprising turn when he started to choke in front of his co-hosts. Seated alongside Rebecca Jarvis, George Stephanopoulos, and Will Reeves, Strahan was caught off guard while Reeves delivered some exciting news to viewers: M&M’s was unveiling its first new flavor in two years.
While introducing the new Peanut Butter & Jelly M&M’s, with bowls of the candy in front of them, Michael had a bit of a mishap. As he eagerly shoveled handfuls of M&M’s into his mouth, the camera shifted to Will Reeves, who was trying to smoothly transition to the next story.
Sure enough, the former football star was seen clutching his throat, struggling to swallow the candy. However, with a smile, he reassured Will to continue, while his co-hosts burst into laughter, clearly unalarmed by Michael’s brief mishap. Watch The original GMA video. An edited Instagram post is shown below. The Instagram video doesn’t show the mishap.
