Fox News Personality Passed Away At 45

Dr. Kelly Powers, a Fox News contributor, tragically passed away on Sunday at the age of 45 after a courageous battle with brain cancer per the Daily Mail. She was diagnosed in 2020 with glioblastoma, one of the most aggressive and deadly forms of brain cancer, Powers faced her illness with remarkable resilience. According to her GoFundMe page, she underwent three surgeries, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy. Her determination and treatment led to a period of remission just a year after her diagnosis.

In 2021, after battling both cancer and fertility challenges, Dr. Kelly Powers and her husband, Steve, joyfully welcomed their son, Bennett, via surrogate. Tragically, her cancer returned in 2024. Determined to continue her fight, she began raising funds to pursue an innovative treatment available exclusively in Germany.

Born in Yonkers, New York, Dr. Kelly Powers pursued her passion for medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, later completing her residency at Boston University School of Medicine. She went on to build a successful career as a surgeon, earning recognition for her expertise and dedication to patient care.

Dr. Powers expanded her reach as a regular contributor to Fox News, appearing on the network’s Red Eye talk show and offering expert insights in segments on Fox Business. Her obituary said she was “a brave and beautiful soul who could make friends anywhere she went. Kelly had a love for people and she was dedicated to helping others. She held many hobbies including gardening, surfing, ballet, biking, running, horseback riding, travel, and several more activities. Kelly was an accomplished doctor and surgeon who held several spotlights on TV and magazines. Most important to her was her family.”
