Former Wrestling star Sid Eudy, nicknamed “Sycho Sid” passed away. He had cancer and died at age 63. His son, Gunner Eudy, posted the sad news on Facebook on August 26.

“I am deeply saddened to share that my father, Sid Eudy, has passed away after battling cancer for several years. He was a man of strength, kindness, and love, and his presence will be greatly missed. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we grieve this loss.”

Sid Eudy, better known by his ring names “Sycho Sid,” “Sid Vicious,” and “Sid Justice,” was a former professional wrestler and WWE Champion. Eudy was born on December 16, 1960, and is widely recognized for his massive physique, standing at about 6’9″ and weighing over 300 pounds.

Sid had a significant presence in wrestling during the late 1980s and 1990s. He is best known for his time in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE, formerly WWF), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). Sid’s wrestling character was that of a menacing, psychopathic figure, which matched his powerful wrestling style.

Throughout his career, Sid won multiple championships, including the WWE Championship twice and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship twice. He had memorable battles with many top wrestlers such as Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker.

His career, however, was marred by a severe leg injury in 2001, which significantly limited his wrestling.

Rest in Peace.
