Anna Faris Fans Go After Chris Pratt Over His Instagram Post Referencing His ‘Healthy’ Daughter

When seemingly perfect celebrity couple Chris Pratt and Anna Faris divorced after eight years of marriage in October 2018, fans went into shock. They seemed so happy together! If they couldn’t last, how could anyone?

Rumors began to spread of infidelity (though they were never confirmed), and finally, Pratt went on to marry author Katherine Schwarzenegger in June 2019 and have a daughter with together.

Just recently Pratt posted an Instagram photo with a caption that fans dug into quite a bit. The post was for Katherine’s birthday, but the tone didn’t hit quite right for a lot of people. The caption read:

“Guys. For real. Look how she’s looking at me! I mean. Find you somebody that looks at you like that!! You know!? We met in church. She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes i put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that’s love! She helps me with everything. In return, periodically, I open a jar of pickles. That’s the trade. Her heart is pure and it belongs to me. My greatest treasure right next to my Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck Rookie card. Which if you know, you know is saying a lot. It’s her birthday in about 6 weeks. So if I don’t get her anything, I’ll tell her to look back on this post. Love you honey. ❤️❤️”

Kinda odd right? We get it, he’s being a little sardonic, but…wha?

The part that really made people think it was partly a dig at Faris was the mention of his “healthy daughter.”

Faris and Pratt share their 9-year-old son, Jack, who was born nine weeks premature and spent several weeks in the NICU suffering a severe brain bleed. As a result, he has some visual impairments and some unrelated heart problems. So the word “healthy’ really didn’t bode well in his comment for Faris fans, who weren’t shy to share their thoughts.

What do you think of Pratt’s post? Do you think he was being genuine, or digging at his ex-wife?
