Dunkin Donuts Teamed Up With Yoplait to Bring You Doughnut-Flavored Yogurt

Breakfast eaters and dedicated snackers have a new option to add to their refrigerator rotation. As if Yoplait already didn’t have enough sweet flavors to offer, they have entered into a perfect union with Dunkin’ (formerly known as Dunkin’ Donuts).

If this sounds diabolical – in a good way – to you and your taste buds, then you’ll be pleased to know that Boston Kreme is among the new flavors ready to take up a whole shelf in your fridge. Why? Because eating pastry as yogurt, cereal, or a condiment sounds all the way right to us.

According to General Mills, you’ll want to dip your spoon into some Boston Kreme because it tastes just like “a chocolate frosted donut with a light creamy Bavarian filling.” How is this even possible? Come on, we know some of you have had thoughts of bringing a food creation like this to life. Admit it. It’s real now.

If this doughnut yogurt doesn’t pique your interest, then perhaps one of the other three flavors in this limited-edition lineup will. Not only can you get just this one Dunkin’ treat in a creamy form, but there are three other versions of their popular goodies.

Yoplait is also gracing store shelves with the Dunkin’ French Vanilla Latte, Apple Fritter, and Cinnamon Coffee Roll. However, because Yoplait engages in high yogurt wizardy, the French Vanilla Latte and Cinnamon Coffee Roll are being included in their Whips! line.

That means they have the texture of a light, fluffy mousse. What’s better is that all these new offerings are less than one buck. Convinced to try some yet?

Both companies have been on a roll in terms of dreaming up new products and collaborations. Last month, Dunkin’ announced its new Trefoil coffee flavor, the result of teaming up with the Girls Scouts of America to turn their iconic shortbread cookie into a drink.

It will be available through the spring. This past fall, they also launched a craft beer with notes of coffee and chocolate. Who knew?

Yoplait also hit up the Girls Scouts’ table to bring us its Caramel Coconut flavor, inspired by Samoa cookies. Mmmm. In the kiddie department, the brand’s new Go-Gurt varieties include Jolly Rancher candy flavors. You can buy watermelon or green apple candy-flavored yogurt.

You may have already seen some of these products at your local Walmart or grocery store, but word is they may take some time to roll out throughout the country. If you do decide to give these a whirl, remember they are only available for a limited time. That means load up!

Keep your eyes peeled for other new food collabs by seemingly unrelated brands. And if you happen to be a breakfast skipper, perhaps one of these creations could sway your morning regimen. Your thoughts?

Will you be buying these Dunkin’ flavors by the dozen? Which yogurt flavor is your favorite? What kinds of snacks will you make with this new sweet assortment?
