Disney Influencer Tragically Dies At Age 34
A Disney theme park influencer has tragically died at the age of 34 after suffering a severe allergic reaction at a holiday event. Dominique Brown was attending a food event hosted by pop culture merchandise retailer BoxLunch in Los Angeles on December 5 when the incident occurred.
The Long Beach-based content creator unknowingly consumed a food item containing allergens she was sensitive to, The Daily Mail reported, citing accounts from other attendees.
An X user, known as @hideyagrannies, claims that Dominique Brown, who reportedly had a peanut allergy, was her mother’s best friend for the past decade.
The user alleged that when Brown asked if the food contained peanuts, she was assured it did not. After experiencing an immediate reaction, Brown reportedly requested to be taken to a hospital, but “everyone said no and took pictures first.”
“She was my mom’s best friend of 10 years,” the user posted. “She asked if there were peanuts in the food and everyone told her no. When she instantly felt bad, she asked someone to take her to the hospital. Everyone said no and to take pictures first. So sad.”
Brown, known as HellooDomo on Instagram, was a popular Disney-inspired influencer.

A PEOPLE reporter that happened to be at the event witnessed Dominique Brown receiving CPR and later confirmed that 911 was called immediately.
A BoxLunch representative made a statement to PEOPLE in a statement that said, we are devastated by the passing of Dominique Brown, a beloved member of the BoxLunch Collective, who suffered a medical emergency at an event hosted by BoxLunch on Thursday in Los Angeles. Our hearts go out to her family and friends, and we will do everything we can to support them and the members of the BoxLunch Collective and our team during this painful time.”
Brown’s brother, Patrick Ramos, responded to her passing in the comments on her final Instagram post. He thanked her fans for all of the support they showed his sister.
“Hi everyone, this is @pramos313 – Dominique’s brother,” Ramos commented on Friday, Dec. 6. “I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to her social media fam for showing her so much love and light. Disney did bring her joy, but it was unparalleled that she found a community who loved her and Disney as much as she did. I will miss my sister and best friend and that infectious smile she always had. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart. ❤️🥺.”

Brown also co-created BlackGirlDisney with Mia Von after recognizing a lack of representation in the Disney influencer community. Their mission was to foster an inclusive space for women of color who are passionate about Disney’s films and theme parks.
Rest In Peace.
