You can preserve your shoes and banish that unpleasant foot odor with shoe powder. The powder will absorb the smells in the shoe and replace them with a fresh, clean-smelling scent. This powder is so easy to make! Plus, it’s dirt cheap. Make this shoe powder in batches and put it in a labeled bag or container that you can take on-the-go.

Keep this powder in your purse, your gym bag (which is probably what I’ll do), or by your front door. Use it at the start of your day and whenever your feet need a little freshening up throughout the day!

YOU’LL NEED
– A sandwich bag or container
– Baking soda
– Baking powder
– Corn starch
– Essential oil

STEP 1: Put a 1/2 cup of cornstarch in your plastic bag.
STEP 2: Add a 1/4 cup of baking powder and baking soda. Mix.
STEP 3: Drop in 5 drops of essential oil and zip up with a little air inside the bag.
STEP 4: Shake the bag up thoroughly.
STEP 5: To use, sprinkle a pinch in the bottom of your shoe and give the shoe a tap so it spreads out evenly.

Baking powder and baking soda are great deodorizers, and they rid your shoes of odors in different ways. And using your favorite essential oils will help give your feet their own signature scent!
