Covid-Positive Woman Breaks Quarantine For Manicure Because She Needs Her Nails Done “Soooooo Bad”

At this point in the pandemic, it’s easy to see think that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. There is a vaccine now. Life will return to normal again soon, right? Right? Only if we all care about others as much (or more) than we care about ourselves, and definitely more than we care about our fingernails.

It’s easy to think that doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers are the main people putting their lives at risk, but there are many others, like grocery store workers, delivery drivers and even people in the beauty industry.

Think about it. If you get a haircut or a manicure you are in close contact with someone else for quite awhile, definitely long enough to contract the virus if the other person has COVID-19. While there has been evidence that wearing a face mask in these situations can make a huge difference, it is still a really bad idea to go to a salon if you’ve tested positive for COVID-19.

Apparently, not everyone got that memo, either that, or not everyone cares. Unfortunately, what we’re about to tell you really happened.

Taylor is a nail artist, and one of her clients made an appointment for a manicure. Before the appointment, Taylor specifically asked the client if she had ever had COVID-19 and if she had been exposed to COVID-19. The client lied and said “no.” She went to her appointment and got her nails done.

After the appointment, Taylor got a very disturbing text from her client. The client told her that she had actually tested positive for COVID-19 two days before her manicure and that Taylor should probably quarantine herself.

It seems that the client regrets her poor decision, but she also defended herself by saying that she “was desperate to get out of the house” and “I needed my nails done.”

Um, if you’re in quarantine, who is going to see your nails anyway? We hardly think it’s a desperate need to get a manicure. Many people have taken to cutting their own hair for the first time during quarantine. We think this woman probably could’ve tried an at-home manicure if she was really that desperate.

Unfortunately, this is not the only time this has happened, and Taylor wants everyone to learn from this incident. She wrote,If there is anything I have learned in the last 24 hours, there may be a handful of unthoughtful people like this ex client who did this to me yesterday, but this world is a beautiful place with a whole lot of people in it willing to do what’s right. Keep on being good to others, and let’s kick this virus outta here.”

How would you react if you knew someone lied to you about having COVID-19?
