If you’re looking for something new to watch on Netflix, you might notice a new documentary called “Operation Varsity Blues.” The documentary uses FBI recordings to recreate real conversations between wealthy parents and the operation’s ring leader, Rick Singer.

In case you missed it, multiple rich parents, including celebrities Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman, paid Singer in order to guarantee their children admission to college. They took photos that made it looks like their children were athletes being recruited to the school. For example, Loughlin’s daughters pretended to be crew team members. The scam eventually came to light, and Loughlin and Huffman have both served time in jail.

The documentary doesn’t focus on the celebrity parents. Instead, it focuses on Singer and how he managed to pull off this scam for so long. Yet, it’s hard not to wonder what parents like Loughlin and Huffman think about this documentary. Will they watch it? Although Loughlin isn’t a fan of the documentary and Huffman says she won’t watch it, plenty of people are watching it. At the time of publication, “Operation Varsity Blues” is currently number 3 in the US on Netflix.

Loughlin served a 2-month prison sentence for her part in the college admissions scandal. While she was still in prison, her daughter, Olivia Jade, spoke out on Jada Pinkett-Smith’s “Red Table Talk.” She explained that the experience taught her a lot, but she is still close to her parents. In fact, she described her mom as her best friend.

So far, Loughlin has yet to share her side of the story. A source told Fox News that the “Fuller House” star hasn’t found the right words yet. “Lori’s been offered many opportunities to open up about what she has been through, but she can’t seem to find the right words. She fears no matter what she says, people can’t get past this.”

It seems clear that Loughlin is ready to move on and put this scandal behind her. Meanwhile, her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, is still serving his prison sentence for his part in the scandal.
