Celine Dion May Never Tour Again
Back in December, Celine Dion rescheduled several tour dates due to her health. She announced that the dates were being postponed from 2023 until 2024. She was hopeful that her health would improve and she would be able to eventually move forward with her tour.
At the same time that she announced she would be rescheduling some dates of her North American tour, she also canceled her European tour and explained what health condition is preventing her from performing. It’s called Stiff Person Syndrome, and it’s a rare, neurological disorder that can cause muscle problems and does not currently have a cure.
Now, Dion has even more bad news. She is canceling all of her North American tour dates in 2023 and 2024. Basically, the tour is not going to happen, and this time, she’s not as optimistic about the future. In fact, a source told CNN that Dion “will likely never tour again.” The source added, “She is in a lot of pain.”
Regardless, Dion is not giving into the pain or her diagnosis. Instead, according to the source, “She does daily physical therapy.”
In the most recent announcement, which was posted to Dion’s Instagram account, Dion explained, “I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%. It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again. I want you all to know, I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!”
All ticket holders for the canceled Courage World Tour “will be refunded via the original point of sale.” Any questions about refunds should be directed to wherever ticket holders purchased the tickets.

Fans have mainly responded to Dion’s announcement in love and with well wishes. Many also shared that they pretty much expected the tour dates to be canceled eventually.
