Actor Ryan Reynolds and his wife, actress Blake Lively, have four children together. The three oldest children are girls, James, Inez and Betty. The youngest child was born in February 2023, and the couple kept the name and gender of their fourth child a secret for a long time.

Then the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine” happened. American Web Media reports that Reynolds shared the forth child’s name during a promotional event in New York City, and the child’s name has caused a lot of criticism.

The forth child’s name is Olin, which is a Nordic name meaning “to inherit” or “ancestor’s heir.” Some online critics think the name is “weird,” but others think the name is “cute.”

Reynolds didn’t disclose the gender of his forth child, but according to PEOPLE, Olin is a boy. Not only that, but Olin and his sisters all had roles in the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

According to IMDB, Olin played Babypool. James is credited as a “screaming mutant.” Inez plays Kidpool. Betty is listed as “Hugh Jackman Wrangler.” While that’s not an onscreen role and it’s unclear exactly what Betty’s role was, it somehow involved Jackman, the actor who plays Wolverine.

Reynolds told PEOPLE that Betty “sort of loves Hugh, like unconditionally.” He added, “And she expresses that love through unblinking violence, so she attacks him, thinking she has claws and he has a healing factor — which he might.”

Lively was also cast in the film as Lady Deadpool, a role which was actually created with her in mind back in 2010. Comic book artist Rob Liefeld was a fan of “Gossip Girl” and based the character of Lady Deadpool on Lively. She saw a post where he explained his inspiration 12 years later in 2022. 

Lively mused that the movie is now “in theaters. The universe has such a magical sense of humor sometimes.”
