Celeb Arrested For DUI

“Dance Moms” star Christi Lukasiak crashed her car into a tree on June 27 and is facing a DUI charge. The accident occurred in Murrysville, Pennsylvania.

Per court paperwork, as reported by CBS News, “Murrysville police were called to the area of Logan Ferry Road near Remaley Road the evening of June 27 for a single-vehicle accident. When officers got there, they said they found Lukasiak’s Audi Q7 crashed into a tree with a completely sheered telephone pole hanging over it.”

The report said when police were talking to Lukasiak they noticed her eyes were “bloodshot and glassy” and her speech was off. They smelled alcohol on her breath. The Dance Moms star said she had two glasses of wine with her friend at the Wooden Nickel.

Lukasiak’s preliminary breath test was positive. Also, she agreed to the standard field sobriety test and police decided she was “impaired to an extent that she could not safely operate a vehicle.”  Allegedly, she refused to take a blood alcohol test.

This resulted in the arrest of the Dance Moms star, who was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated.

Christi Lukasiak, 47, is best known for her role in the hit reality series “Dance Moms.” Christi is the mother of Chloe Lukasiak, a talented dancer who also became known through the show.

Christi and Chloe Lukasiak joined the cast of “Dance Moms” when the show premiered in 2011. The show, which aired on Lifetime, followed the lives of young dancers and their mothers as they trained and competed under the demanding dance coach, Abby Lee Miller.

Her relationship with Abby Lee Miller was tumultuous and fraught with tension. Christi frequently clashed with Abby over her teaching methods and the perceived favoritism Abby showed towards other dancers. Abby once called the Lukasiak family “pathetic.”

Christi and Chloe left “Dance Moms” after the fourth season in 2014.  They decided the show  had a negative impact on their well-being. After they left, Christi focused on supporting Chloe’s career outside of the reality TV spotlight.

Chloe continued to pursue dancing, acting, and modeling, while Christi took on the role of a supportive mother and manager. In addition to managing Chloe’s career, Christi became an influential social media personality.
