Burger King Will Be Offering 37-Cent Whoppers for Just 2 Days

We love learning fun facts about our favorite fast food chains. It’s interesting to know, for example, how Taco Bell got its name or which fast food chain is the oldest in the world.

When it comes to interesting fast food facts, we’re especially interested when those facts mean we’re going to save money. Here’s a fun fact you’re going to want to remember. Back in 1957 when Burger King first debuted The Whopper, the customizable hamburger only cost 37 cents. You’re going to want to remember that because for two days you can once again pay just 37 cents for a Whopper.

Back in 1957, Burger King only had one location, which was in Miami, Florida. After the debut of the Whopper, the chain put up a sign that read “The Home of the Whopper.” Burger King is still “The Home of the Whopper,” and the famous sandwich is quite a popular menu item.

If you’re a fan of the Whopper and of great deals, you’re going to want to download the Burger King app if you haven’t already. You’re also going to want to sign up to be a Burger King rewards member, known as Royal Perks. You can sign up on the app or by visiting BK.com/BKRewards.

Once you have done those two things, you will be all ready to redeem Burger King’s deal where for two days only, Royal Perks members can order the Whopper through the app for just 37 cents. This offer will be available exclusively on the Burger King app on December 3rd and 4th.

Besides getting a great deal on the Whopper, being a Royal Perks member also comes with other, well, perks. You’ll be able to earn and redeem crowns (the term used instead of points) on orders, and you’ll be able to upsize your beverage, french fry and hash browns orders for free.

In a statement, Burger King North America’s head of marketing communications, Zahra Nurani, explained what makes the Whopper so wonderful. She stated, “In 1957, Burger King changed the game with the introduction of the Whopper sandwich – an iconic, flame-grilled burger prepared YOUR way (with 1,024 potential combinations, to be exact).” Then she explained the upcoming deal. “And now, 64 years later, we’re excited to celebrate our beloved burger by offering The Whopper for its original price of 37 cents exclusively to Royal Perks members.”

Are you currently a Royal Perks member? If not, are you going to become a Royal Perks member to take advantage of the 37 cent Whopper deal? What do you like on your Whopper?
