Lynn had previously shared updates about her accident and the brain surgery that followed. On Instagram, Sebastian posted a heartfelt tribute along with family photos, expressing that he felt her fans would want to know about her passing, which occurred on Monday.
Back in December, the New York jewelry designer revealed she underwent an emergency craniotomy on Christmas Eve following a life-altering ski accident.
On December 30, Ban shared on Instagram that the incident occurred while she was vacationing in Aspen with her family. She explained that she “caught a tip and face-planted” near the top of the mountain. Despite wearing a helmet, she sought out the ski patrol for evaluation, concerned about a potential concussion.

“I had a bit of a headache but thought after lunch it would be fine and I could ski again,” she wrote. “The paramedic suggested I go to the hospital for a cat scan. This saved my life.”
“Within 30 minutes they (the hospital) told us I had a brain bleed and needed to be airlifted to the trauma hospital. Last thing I remember was being intubated and waking up after an emergency craniotomy with Jett by my side.”
“There’s a long road of recovery ahead but I’m a survivor and grateful to ski patrol , the incredible team of doctors and nurses and the ❤️and support my family and friends 🙏🏼 GOD IS GOOD 🙏🏼Grateful and blessed to see the new year 🎉🙌🏻”
