Steve Harvey Reveals the Best Answer He’s Ever Heard On Family Feud

Family Feud has got to be one of the funniest game shows on TV. The show first aired in 1976 and was popular with all sorts of audiences. Richard Dawson hosted the show for a whopping nine years before the last episode aired in 1985.

The show went on a brief hiatus for three years until CBS relaunched it in 1988. It then ran until 1993 before coming back to stay in 1999. It’s still on the air to this day and remains an entertaining show for families and friends to tune out on the boob tube (or play along, of course).

The show has two families compete against each other to come up with the most popular responses to survey questions. The questions could be anything from “Name a body part” to “Name something people do in the morning.” Each family takes their guesses, and if they get three strikes—aka a big fat zero three times in a row—it moves on to the next family.

The show has gone through several hosts besides Dawson—Ray Combs, Louie Anderson, Richard Karn, John O’Hurley. However, Steve Harvey then took over as the host in 2010 and has been hosting the show ever since.

All the hosts have been great—in fact, one of the best parts of the show is watching the host judge a contestant’s answer. Many times, as the pool for good answers gets smaller and smaller, families start to confidently spout out responses that might not make a lot of sense. And the host will certainly make it known that the answer was, well, not the best, with their facial expressions.

Harvey is the king of judgmental facial expressions. If you watch the show, you know that he actually goes beyond just expressions—he has no problem telling it like it is. He will sometimes even straight up tell the contestant that the answer, was, indeed, not the best one, usually in a comedic way. Not surprisingly, this happens quite often.

However, there was one instance that Harvey really couldn’t hold back. He says to this day, it was the best answer he’s ever heard on the show in all his years of hosting.

We’ve gotta say, the answer is hysterical. Check out the answer in the clip below—and try not to share a laugh with everyone.
