Ben Affleck Open to Rekindling Romance With Ex-Wife Jennifer Garner
Ben Affleck “would love another chance” with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, according to a source exclusively speaking to Page Six. Despite their long history and recent closeness, a reunion doesn’t seem likely—at least not on Garner’s end.
The Justice League star “would definitely be open to giving things another shot with Jen if the timing is ever right,” the insider revealed. However, Affleck understands that “it’s just not realistic at this time in their lives.” Having recently finalized his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, Affleck is focused on work and adjusting to this new chapter.
While Affleck may still have feelings for Garner, he also respects her current relationship with businessman John Miller. “Ben respects Jen’s relationship with John and would never come between them,” the source explained.
Despite Affleck’s openness, another source says, “The feeling is not mutual on Jen’s side. She’s happy with John, and that’s just not where her head is at.” Instead, Garner values the strong co-parenting relationship she has with Affleck, and “that’s where things stand on her end at the moment.”
Garner and Miller, 47, have been dating on and off since 2018, and while there have been reports of tension due to Affleck’s increasing presence in Garner’s life, she remains committed to her current relationship.
The former couple, both 52, have been spending more time together, particularly for their children. Just recently, they were spotted laughing and chatting as they celebrated their son Samuel’s 13th birthday at a Los Angeles paintball park.
Affleck and Garner, who also share daughters Violet, 19, and Seraphina, 16, “are closer than they’ve ever been since their divorce,” according to an insider. Following Affleck’s split from Lopez and recent crises like the LA wildfires, the two “have found themselves leaning on each other more than ever.”
While Garner and Affleck’s close friendship has many fans hoping for a rekindled romance, it has reportedly caused some strain in her current relationship. A previous report suggested that Miller was “not thrilled” about how much time Garner has been spending with Affleck.
“Their growing bond is getting to be a bit much when Ben spends all the holidays with them, like Christmas and Thanksgiving. John feels like a third wheel,” a source shared.
Despite Affleck’s lingering feelings, all signs point to Garner keeping things strictly platonic. For now, their relationship remains one of mutual support, co-parenting, and shared history—but not romance.
