Daytime Emmy Award winning actress Anne Heche remains in a coma and critical condition on Wednesday. Ms. Heche remains under mechanical ventilation, five days after her Blue Mini Cooper crashed into a two-story residential home in a Los Angeles neighborhood.

Officer Norma Eisenman of the LAPD confirmed Ms. Heche was involved in the crash and was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.

Earlier this week Rosie O’Donnell took to TikTok this week to express remorse over making fun of Heche years earlier:

“So I can’t stop thinking about this Anne Heche accident and how horrifying the whole thing is, and feeling bad that I made fun of her when she was talking to Barbara Walters about having a relationship with space aliens.”

No update from the Los Angeles Police Department on the results from the blood draw taken from Heche to determine if there was alcohol in Heche’s system at the time of the crash. The crash is under investigation and no charges have been filed.

“The investigation is ongoing pending the blood result” Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department said on Wednesday.
