‘America’s Got Talent’ Comedian Passed Away At 39
Comedian Kabir Singh, best known as a semifinalist on Season 16 of America’s Got Talent, has passed away at the age of 39.
Singh’s fiancée confirmed the tragic news to PEOPLE on Wednesday, Dec. 4, sharing a broken heart emoji in her statement.
According to TMZ, which first reported the story, authorities suspect Singh died of natural causes, though a toxicology report has been conducted to confirm the cause of death. The comedian was reportedly in San Francisco at the time and had been facing ongoing health issues.
Singh’s friend Jeremy Curry posted a Facebook tribute.
“It’s My Deepest Regrets to let Everyone Know that Kabir Singh has passed away… He passed away peacefully in his sleep and this is the most devastating post I’ve posted….Services will be Saturday December 14 at 8:30 am @ Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward… Please keep his family and fiancé in your thoughts and prayers….I Love you bro”
Sources told TMZ that Kabir Singh had a history of health challenges, and investigators currently suspect he may have died of natural causes. However, the investigation remains ongoing. Additional reports indicate that Singh was in the San Francisco Bay Area at the time of his passing.
