Traveling is stressful. I would know, since I’m writing this from an airport where I was just told my flight has been delayed an hour. (Fun!)

Naturally, there are lots of grumpy people in the airport. You know, the TSA member who has been working for 24 hours and dealing with rude customers, the baby that’s crying and irritating the person who’s about to miss their connection…

It’s probably one of the worst places in the world, to be honest! (Unless you’re traveling to Bora Bora, well, then, we’re just jealous!)

Point is, with so many unhappy people, it’s great to get some comical relief. And that’s just what one man named Jahmaul Allen provided to some people, including a crying baby, taking off on a flight at Toronto Pearson International Airport right around the holidays and new year.

What he did? Was bust out a few dance moves on the tarmac as the plane was taking off. He could’ve just simply done his job and that was it, but he felt like he needed to make some people smile this particular day.

“I felt like I needed to brighten that child’s life,” Allen told ABC News recently. “I just made her smile…so then I continued to dance.”

Someone captured it on video and posted it to their Twitter, and of course it went viral because it’s amazing. The video of the epic moves has been currently watched more than 1.71 million times!

“It was a really big impact,” said Allen. “It made a great way to end off 2018.”

After that one time, Allen still decided to bust a move every now and again to make people smile. “I would say I do it every now and then, whenever I feel like the mood to dance and whenever I want to make someone happy on the plane.”

Allen is someone who absolutely loves his job, and it shows. While for some types of workers—office workers for example, it might be a bit frowned upon to just start dancing like a nut in the middle, it wasn’t at all for Allen. In fact, it just made it better.

“I just love what I do and I love making the passengers happy,” said Allen.

While that’s true, Allen did also mention that he’d love to work his way up to be a pilot some day. Can you imagine if he brought his dance skills to the front of the plane? Now that would be a plane ride to remember!

His video was so popular that people have actually started to recognize him at the airport and sometimes even request him to start dancing.

“I usually don’t really have an impact on anyone. No one really notices me,” said Allen. “So for this to happen, for this to surface—it’s actually a blessing.”

It just goes to show how impactful something so seemingly small could be.
