Actress Jennifer Lawrence was paid $25 million for her role in the film “Don’t Look Up.” That doesn’t sound too shabby, but she is unhappy with the pay considering she was paid $5 million less than Leonardo DiCaprio who was paid $30 million.

Lawrence discussed the pay gap with Vogue and called it “bothersome.” She explained, “It doesn’t matter how much I do. I’m still not going to get paid as much as that guy, because of my vagina?”

This isn’t the only film where Lawrence feels her salary would’ve been higher if she were a man. During the Sony hack in 2014 it was discovered that Lawrence and Amy Adams were both paid less for their roles in the film “American Hustle” than their male co-stars Bradley Cooper and Christian Bale.

Lawrence was unhappy when she found out she was being paid less than her male co-stars. She explained, “When the Sony hack happened and I found out how much less I was being paid than the lucky people with d**ks, I didn’t get mad at Sony. I got mad at myself.”

Lawrence is also mad about lies told about especially when it comes to disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein who is currently serving a 23-year prison sentence after being found guilty of rape and assault.

Weinstein was a producer on “Silver Lining’s Playbook.” Lawrence’s role in the film ended up earning her an Academy Award. After she took home the Oscar, Weinstein bragged, “I slept with Jennifer Lawrence and look where she is; she has just won an Oscar.”

Lawrence denies the claims explaining that her relationship with Weinstein was only professional. In a statement she explained, “My heart breaks for all the women who were victimized by Harvey Weinstein. I have never had anything but a professional relationship with him. This is yet another example of the predatory tactics and lies that he engaged in to lure countless women.”
