3 Ways to Incorporate Vinegar Into Your Hair Care Routine
We Tip Heroes know by now that vinegar is one of those cheap, household miracle substances. You can use just one cheap bottle of vinegar in so many ways around the house. Here are some ways that vinegar can help you out in the hair department:
- Restore Shine: you can use vinegar as much as 3 times weekly or as little as once a week to restore luster to hair and remove build up from other hair products. Since using vinegar could dry your hair out a bit, you might want to condition before use. Then prepare a vinegar rinse (1 cup of vinegar added to 2 cups of warm water – with an optional drop of an essential oil if desired) and work into hair.
- Hairbrush Cleaning: first, remove any excess hair from your hairbrush. Then create a half water, half vinegar mix (with a drop or two or an essential oil if you’d like) and use this to soak your hairbrush in. Rinse the brush and use normally.
- Scalp Help: you can use a vinegar rinse to clean your scalp, improve its health, and fight dandruff. Create a solution of 1/2 cup vinegar mixed with 2 cups of warm water. Rinse with this after shampooing as much as once a day or as little as once a week.
