3 Iced Flavors To Try Now That You’ve Mastered Cold-Brew Coffee

Whether we’ve mastered the long art of cold-brew coffee or simply ice down the hot version, we all turn to iced coffee in the summertime. Something about the warm weather makes us feel more adventurous, so it’s a great time to try new flavors, and where better to do so than in the comfort of our own kitchens? The Domestic Geek shows us how to make three delicious variations on flavored iced coffees, including a breakfast smoothie that’s the perfect way to start the day!

Each variation starts with Starbucks Cold Brew Coffee, but we bet they’ll taste just as good with your own homebrewed version. Whichever way you decide to go, getting each delicious flavor is easy . . .

You’ll Need:

Mocha Coconut
– 1 cup cold brew coffee
– 1/4 cup coconut milk
– 1/4 teaspoon coconut extract
– 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
– Sweetener, to taste
– Ice

Vanilla Almond
– 1 cup cold brew coffee
– 1/4 cup almond milk, sweetened
– 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
– Sweetener, to taste
– Ice

Irish Cream Coffee Smoothie
– 1/2 cup cold brew coffee
– 1/2 cup almond milk
– 1 ripe banana
– 1 tablespoon chocolate protein powder
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
– Ice

To make the Mocha Coconut and Vanilla Almond Iced Coffees, simply combine all of the ingredients in a mason jar and shake. For the Irish Cream Coffee Smoothie, you simply have to blend all the ingredients together in the blender. It doesn’t get any easier than that, does it?! Have you ever tried flavoring your homemade iced coffees before? What other flavor combinations would you like to see?
