As the weather cools down and we cozy up in warm sweaters while sipping pumpkin spice lattes, we dream of comfort food.

Biscuits have to be one of our favorite types of comfort food. They are flaky, buttery and all-around delicious. A biscuit alone with a little bit of butter and honey or jelly is pretty amazing, but a biscuit turned savory is quite appealing as well.

Casseroles are a great way to use up a variety of foods you have around your house, and they can be very easy to make. We won’t tell if you top them with store-bought biscuit dough either, and but homemade biscuits are not hard to make.
